How to get motivated
There are thousands of programs, dare we say, millions of fitness programs, diets, gadgets, and philosophies, but what good are they if you don’t do them?
The number one reason you will fail to get in shape is because when you don’t feel like working out or eating healthy, you don’t. That’s when results become unstable and eventually disappear. This causes your drive to dwindle and your motivation to mope until your confidence slowly sinks into a pit of despair.
It’s painful to give up on your goals and dreams, so you (all of us) justify it in a subconscious effort to console ourselves. We all do this. We even console others and train them justify their decisions, too. And we really love it when someone else has made the same poor decisions as us. Soon, this place we’re in feels natural—just who we are. We’re then told by coddlers dressed in life-coach clothing to accept who we are and love ourselves.
Well, Meanies say that’s a bunch of twaddle! Pure garbage! That’s coddler talk! And It’s illegal here in our realm. It’s hate-speech! Here’s why:
You’re not accepting yourself and loving yourself for who you are. That’s not you! You’re accepting and loving an imposter—a fake version of you. The real you can do it! The real you is marvelous, not a pit-of-despair-dweller. You chose to be down there. It’s different if you did—and are doing—everything to reach a goal and you don’t. That’s different. No, we’re talking about your choice to justify the avoidance of executing the necessary tasks to achieve greatness.
You’ve got to climb out of there you knuckle head! You don’t belong down there. But How?
You climb by doing those things you don’t want to do. So just do them. Act! Each act will rally your confidence. Each act is a rung on the ladder out of the pit and with each rise you will be more and more pleased. Your drive will rev up and motivation will creep back into your heart. We promise.
You can do it. You must do it! And you must do it even though you don't want to. That's the secret. You cannot accept anything less than your goals and dreams. You should die fighting for them.
